Playhouse Raises $2.8M in Seed Funding

Playhouse, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a mobile app for video listings of homes for sale, raised $2.8M in Seed Funding.

Agya Ventures lead the round. Gaingels, Goodwater Capitals, Nomo Ventures. PKO Investments. Y Combinator was also present.

The funds will be used by the company to speed up product development for the app. It allows users to enjoy TikTok-like video clips on active realty listings while learning more details about properties.

Playhouse, which was created by Nathan Shinder & Perelman, is a mobile application for listing homes for sale. It offers an entertaining, and immersive platform that’s focused on the discovery, education, and community. It connects creator content with real data about neighborhoods and homes, creating a variety of experiences for customers. You can scroll through video clips of real active listings and browse them using a map. If you are searching for something specific, you can apply filters.

The beta version of the app for Bay Area properties is now available.
