The funds will be used by the company to expand its operations and accelerate business growth.
Qoala is headed by Harshet Lunani, CEO, and Tommy Martin. It’s a technology startup that seeks to socialize insurance by combining product development with machine learning-based claim processing. The company is present in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand and offers insurance protections that include personal accident, health, and property.
Qoala is a platform for over 50 insurance brokers that allows them sell insurance from multiple companies while also managing post-sale and pre-sale services. Through its partnerships with Traveloka and Redbus, DANA.ID, JD.ID Shopee, Kredivo, and Investree, it also offers innovative micro-insurance products.
