SAMSUNG GALAXY E22E receives Bluetooth certification

Samsung Galaxy A22 5G SC 56B

The Galaxy A22 5G 5G was the cheapest 5G smartphone Samsung released in 2021. The Galaxy A13 5G, which had marginally different specifications, occupied that spot. The company appears to be preparing to relaunch the Galaxy A22 series in a sudden twist. Samsung is preparing to launch the Samsung Galaxy A22e 5G, a new model. This particular device was found in the Bluetooth SIG certification database, model number SC56B.

Unfortunately, the listing didn’t include any information about the smartphone, other than the model number and moniker. The model number SC56B is however on the handset. It was first launched in Japan as Samsung Galaxy A22 back in October 2022. We believe the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A22e 5G is a rebranded version of the A22 in Japan. This could be a rebranded Samsung Galaxy A22 5G. However, the Japanese version may be slightly different.

GALAXY 5G SPECIFICATIONS

We know the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A22e 5G, which is available in Japan already. This handset boasts a 5.8 inch TFT LCD display with HD+ resolution. The diagonal size of the handset is very small by current standards. There are three colors available for the handset: Red, White, or Black.

The Galaxy A22e 5G features the Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 700 CPU, which has 5G capabilities. The chipset’s 7 nm manufacturing process makes it extremely efficient. The chipset includes two ARM Cortex A76 cores that can run at 2.2 GHz and six ARM Cortex A55 cores that can run at 2.0 GHz. There are 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal Storage. You can also expand the storage with a microSD card slot. It runs Android 11 with One UI3.0 at the top.

The camera is simple, with a single 13MP camera and an LED flash. The waterdrop notch houses an 8MP camera that can be used for video calls and selfies. It charges in just 10W and packs a 4,000 mAh of battery. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack and 5G, NFC and full GPS. It also has an IP68 rating, which makes it waterproof. It does not have a fingerprint scanner so users will need to rely on the facial unlock feature.

India and Europe can purchase the standard variant. In almost all aspects, the A22e variant has been downgraded. We are curious to know what the company’s strategy will be with this launch.
