Sana Closes $60M Series B Growth Funding Round


Sana, an Austin, TX-based health care company that provides health benefits to small businesses, closed a $60 million Series B funding.

The original investors Trust Ventures & Gigafund co-led the round with existing investors American Family Ventures (mark vc), Breyer Capital, JAM Fund, and Liquid 2.

The company has raised $107m so far. It plans to use the funds for its members and team, to build new primary care centers, and to accelerate its growth into new markets.

Sana, which is co-founded and runs as CEO, provides small businesses with health plans, a care ecosystem, direct primary care, and other services. The company was founded in Texas and began operations in Texas in 2020. It is now available in eight other states.

Sana MD was established in Austin, Texas by the company as its first primary health care facility for members. The company offers employees virtual care with specialists in primary care, pediatrics and mental health.
