SendChamp secures $100K from DFS Lab and others

SendChamp is a Nigerian company that has raised $100,000 to support African companies in the communication space. The round’s close signifies the public launch of the service.Sendchamp

The US$100,000.00 angel round was attended by local angel syndicates such as DFS Lab, Hustler Capital and HoaQ Club as well as angel investors like Prosper Otemuyiwa and Samson Goddy, Merijn campsteyn, Ayo Aikawe and Lanre Ogungbe.

SendChamp was founded by Goodness Kayode, Damilola Olotu and aims to improve user interactions for both technical and non-technical business owners. It has been private for the past eight months.

The APIs of the company allows users to send messages via SMS, WhatsApp and email as well as voice.

The CRM system allows both technical and non-technical staff to better manage client relationships.

Kayode reports that SendChamp is pleased to have closed this round. It was supported by some of Africa’s most supportive investors.

It is a company that aims to assist African businesses in improving client relations by creating the most user-friendly solutions.

SendChamp has a greater number of non-technical entrepreneurs than technical employees and is designed primarily for them.

The company needs both technical and non-technical employees who can communicate with clients effectively across multiple channels using one platform.

SendChamp has partnered with companies such as Bumpa and Selar to reach and engage customers despite being in private beta.

These businesses have been able to send over 3 million communications to more than 300,000 clients over the past six months.

SendChamp intends to use the funds for product development and staff growth. Recently, the company expanded into Kenya.
