Soldo Brings Apple Pay to Customers

Soldo, today brings its 30,000 customers Apple Pay, a safer, more secure and private way to pay that helps customers avoid handing their payment card to someone else, touching physical buttons or exchanging cash — and uses the power of iPhone to protect every transaction.

To make a contactless purchase, customers can simply hold their iPhones and Apple Watches close to a payment terminal. Apple Pay purchases are secure as they are authenticated using Face ID, Touch ID or device passcode. Apple Pay can also be accepted at grocery stores and pharmacies, in taxis, restaurants and coffee shops, as well as retail stores.

Apple Pay can be used on iPhones, iPads, and Macs to make purchases faster and easier in apps or online in Safari. Apple Pay makes it easy to pay for business expenses, including travel and transportation.  Apple Pay can be used to make Apple Watch app payments.

Apple Pay is built on security and privacy. Customers who use Soldo cards with Apple Pay do not have their card numbers stored on the device or on Apple servers. Instead, a unique Device Number is assigned and encrypted. The Secure Element is an industry-standard certified chip that secures the payment information on the device.

Apple Pay is very easy to set-up. Open the Wallet app on iPhone and tap + to add a Soldo Card. After a customer has added a card to their iPhone, Apple Watch or iPad, they will be able to use Apple Pay immediately. Customers will continue to enjoy all the benefits and rewards offered by Soldo cards.
