Sugar Cosmetics, a Mumbai, India-based omnichannel beauty company, raised $50M in Series D funding.
The round was led by Asia fund of L Catterton, with participation from A91 Partners, Elevation Capital, and India Quotient. Anjana Sasidharan was also part of the funding. L Catterton Asia Managing Director, will be joining the company’s board.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth in the beauty and personal care markets across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, and expand operations.
Sugar Cosmetics’ CEO Vineeta is the brand behind. The beauty brand features persona, signature low poly packaging, and chart-topping product. Crafted in facilities across Germany, Italy, India, USA and Korea, the brand ships its products in Lips, Eyes, Face, Nails & Skin categories across the world.
The company has 40,000+ retail outlets in 550+ cities.
