Sylogik is a UK-based provider of a data management platform that allows organizations to combine data, identify risks, and create reports. It has raised more than PS3m through a Series A round.

Bill Currie, founder and CEO of the William Currie Group, and Sir Terry Leahy (ex-CEO of Tesco), led the round.

The funds will be used by the company to expand its Scout solution to other markets and territories and to accelerate the launch of new solutions that have been in the works for the past 18 months. These solutions will expand the company’s data aggregation and risk identification capabilities as well as its decision intelligence capabilities.

Synalogik’s CEO Gareth Mussell delivers innovative solutions to automate intelligence and investigation processes. This improves the way that criminality, fraud and risk are identified, investigated, and detected. It provides a strategic and financial advantage for its global clients.

Scout is a platform that allows organisations to automate data aggregation and identify risk, as well as report findings. It assists users in fraud investigation, regulatory compliance, and anti-money laundering investigations.

The company currently offers SaaS platforms as well as consultancy services in the following areas: law enforcement, banking and gambling, insurance, legal and others.

The company has clients in the gambling, legal, and banking sectors, including Entain and Betway. It will also invest heavily in research and development, as well as its people and customers. Plans include to increase the engineering team by two-thirds and to expand its customer support department.
