Talabat receives highest security standard PCI DSS Level 1 Certification in all 8 operating markets

Talabat, a leading MENA food delivery platform and q-commerce platform, proudly announced that it has been awarded Level 1 certification in Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. This security standard was established in 2004 to protect online credit and debit card transactions from fraud and data theft.

The company holds the PCI-DSS Level 1 certification in all eight of its operational markets, including Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, UAE. Khaled Rashed, Talabat CTO, described the PCIDSS Level 1 Certification as ” for Us” and said that it was a proud achievement to be the only food and qcommerce delivery platform to achieve this certification in the MENA region.

PCI-DSS is the industry standard for security and compliance that protects cardholders’ information. It stands out as one of the most rigorous security standards on the market.
