Tenyx, a Palo Alto, CA-based AI technology company focused on customer services, raised $15M in Seed funding.
The round was led by AME Cloud Ventures, Cota Capital, Morado Ventures, Pathbreaker Ventures, Point72 Ventures, StageOne Ventures, John Lilly, Georges Harik and Jaan Tallinn.
The funds will be used by the company to expand and accelerate its growth.
Led by CEO Itamar Arel, Tenyx is building intelligent, voice-based conversational agents for customer service applications. It uses proprietary neuroscience-based AI technology and creates integratable systems that are natural engaging, capable understanding context, and can offer the same sense as human interaction.
Tenyx’ leadership team also includes Prof. Ron Christly, an established AI researcher and head of the Cognitive Science program at Sussex University. Its advisors include prominent AI and neuroscience researchers including Professors Noah Goodman and David Eagleman from Stanford University.
