The Vets Raises $40M in Seed Funding

New York-based tech-enabled pet-care platform The Vets raised $40M in Seed financing.

Target Global, PICO Venture Partner and Bolt Ventures led the round.

The funds will be used by the company to increase the number of veterinarians in the country.

The Vets, led by Daniel Sagis (CEO), is a tech-enabled veterinary care provider that brings comprehensive pet care to the home. The company is developing a team to support veterinarians through training, development, and advanced medical technology. This will allow them to provide comprehensive care for pets in a stress-free setting.

The co-founders of the company include Sagis, Dori Fussmann, Target Global, and COO Dori Furssmann. They were founded in 2021 as part of Target Global’s venture-building program. The Vets is currently operating in nine cities and plans to expand to 25 more by 2022. The company currently operates in Miami, Tampa and Dallas, Austin, Houston.
