Unifimoney Raises $10M in Seed Funding


Unifimoney Inc., a San Francisco, CA-based digital wealth management platform for Community Banks and Credit Unions, raised $10m in Seed funding.

Shop Your Way, a Transform Holdco LLC subsidiary, Oriza Ventures. Altair Capital, Global Millennial Capital. White Bay Group. Hard Yaka. Plug and Play. ICBA. There were also a few angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to extend its coverage of alternative assets including collectibles, sports memorabilia and NFTs in addition to a full suite of retirement accounts with both traditional and alternative asset IRA’s. Customers of Financial Institutions can earn points towards the investment rewards credit card, which allows them to redeem for investable assets such as crypto, stocks, and gold.

Unifimoney was founded in 2019 by Ben Soppitt, CEO and Ed Cortis, CTO. It is a digital wealth management platform for Community Banks and Credit Unions that allows them to offer attractive investment services to customers. The platform allows for trading in more than 70 cryptocurrencies, passive or active investing in thousands, stocks, ETFs and precious metallics including gold, silver and platinum.

The company works with Financial Institutions existing technology partners and is integrated with leading core providers including Jack Henry & Associates and Q2 with more in process.
