A $10m seed round was closed by Union.ai, a Bellevue-based company that provides an open-source workflow orchestration platform.
The round was lead by NEA, with additional participation from a small group of angels.
The company plans to use the funds to grow Flyte’s open-source ecosystem and build a commercially viable Union Cloud platform.

Union.ai provides new services to flyte users. These include integration with machine learning tools, the creation of reproducible models that can be shared, and the opportunity to reap the benefits of an open-source platform.
Companies including Lyft, Spotify, GoJek and more, use Flyte to power their Data & ML products.
