Funding of $30M was raised by Vade, a cybersecurity company based in San Francisco, CA.
Tikehau Ace Capital and Bpifrance led the round. Auriga was also involved.
The company plans to use these funds to accelerate international growth, improve its cybersecurity products to Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and small and mid-sized businesses. They also plan to place increased emphasis on the development of MSSP-tailored solutions, with high installation and efficiency.
Vade, led by Georges Lotigier (CEO), is a cybersecurity firm that specializes in threat detection and response technology using artificial intelligence. The company’s products and solutions are designed to protect consumers, businesses, organizations, and individuals from cyberattacks via email, such as malware/ransomware and spear phishing/businesses email compromise. The company was founded in 2009 and protects over 1 billion consumer and corporate mailboxes. It also serves the ISP, SMB and MSP markets with solutions and products that increase cybersecurity and IT efficiency. Vade for M365 is the company’s flagship product and is specifically designed for MSPs.
Vade currently employs nearly 200 people. It expects to increase its workforce by 80 by the end 2012 calendar year.
