Venus Aerospace Raises $20M In Series A Funding

Venus Aerospace has raised $20M Series A funding, Houston-based startup Hypersonic Aviation.

Prime Movers Lab led the round with participation by Draper Associates and Saturn 5, Seraph Groups, Cantos Group, Cantos Group, Tamarack Global, Tamarack Global, Tamarack Global, Tamarack Global, Tamarack Global, Tamarack Global, Tamarack, Tamarack Global, Tamarack Global, Tamarack Global, Tamarack Global, Tamarack Global, TamarackGlobal, Tamarack Global, Tamarack Global, Tamarack Global, Tamarack Global, Prime Movers Lab With this round, Venus has raised $33m in total funding, including $1m of non-dilutive government funding.

The company plans to use the funds for flight testing and engine testing at Spaceport Houston.

Founded by Sarah “Sassie” Duggleby and Dr. Andrew Duggleby, Venus Aerospace is an early stage, deep tech company advancing a Mach 9 hypersonic aircraft that will enable one-hour global travel. The company gained government contracts in the last year and has scaled quickly. It developed and built the tech demonstration engine and performed key experiments in hypersonic wind tunnels, propulsion test facilities, and Spaceport Houston.
