Veriff Raises $100M in Series C Funding at $1.5 Billion Valuation

Veriff, an NYC-based global identity verification (IDV), provider, has raised $100M in Series B financing at a $1.5 billion valuation.

This round brings Veriff’s total investment to $200M. It was co-led jointly by Tiger Global, Alkeon, and existing investors IVP, and Accel.

The company plans to use the funds for R&D investments, particularly to expand its product range, increase sales, and grow its global workforce.

Kaarel Kotkas is the CEO of Veriff, a global online ID verification company. Veriff helps organizations build trust with customers by providing intelligent, accurate and automated online IDV. The intelligent decision engine analyzes thousands of technological and behavioral factors in seconds and matches people to over 10,000 government-issued IDs in more than 190 countries. It also supports 40 languages. The company was founded in 2015 and serves a diverse portfolio of companies across the fintech, gaming, and mobility sectors. Veriff has more than 360 employees from 46 countries.
