Vestaron closed an $82M Series C round of funding for its Durham, NC-based peptide based biological crop-protection company.

Ordway Selections led the round, along with Cavallo Ventures and Fortistar Ventures. Endeavor8 and Endeavor8 also participated, as well as Novo Holdings and Northpond Ventures. CGC Ventures. iSelect Ventures and Syngenta Ventures. With the fundraising, the Vestaron board will add Ariel Barack (Ordway), Mike Wilbur (Cavallo) and Craig Herron (iSelect) as board observers.
