VIVO V21E design & specification have been leaked

The Vivo X80 series is coming soon. It’s been a while since we last heard anything about it. Vivo doesn’t bring any new flagships but it continues to fill the market for budget and mid-range smartphones with new competitors under its V series and Y series. The company recently introduced the Vivo V23 series to India. It is now preparing for a Vivo Y21E smartphone. Similar specifications will be found on the handset, which will follow the Vivo Y33T that was released last week. We have more details on the Vivo V21e today as 91Mobiles. Ishan Agarwal shared some renderings and specifications for the new smartphone.

Vivo V21E runs Android 12 and Funtouch OS 12. It’s wonderful to see Android 12 on the Vivo V21E since there are still many companies launching devices with Android 11. It’s great to see Vivo give a decent treatment to a device without premium specs. The device also features a 6.51 inch HD+ LCD display with a 60 Hz refresh speed, according to leaked specs. The selfie camera is housed in this panel, which has a punch-hole cutout at the center. The bottom bezel on these mid-range phones is thick, as usual. Leaked renders confirmed that there will be a black option and one with some sort of diamond pattern.

Leaked specs confirm that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC is indeed in these leaked specs. This is the latest Qualcomm 4G SoC and is quickly becoming a popular choice for mid-range smartphones. This 6 nm processor is being used in a number of devices. It is expected that the device will have at least 3GB RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage. There may be an additional variant with more RAM. It may include an additional RAM slot and a micro SD card slot to expand storage.

The Y21e is powered by a huge 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged with 18 W. This is a common standard for low-end devices. The device also features a side-mounted fingerprint reader. It boasts a dual-camera setup in optics. It has a 13MP main camera and a depth-sensing 2MP camera. The device also has a decent 8MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

At this time, pricing information for the smartphone is not available. It is possible that we will hear more information in the coming days. This handset will be launched by Vivo in a quiet manner.
