Vontive Raises $135M in Funding

Vontive, which is based in San Francisco, CA, and Seattle, WA, offers an embedded mortgage platform that allows investors to invest in real estate. It raised USD135m.

Zigg Capital was the lead investor in the Series B round. Other participants included Founders Fund and Goldcrest as well as XYZ Venture Capital. Village Global, Godfrey Capital and Village Global.

Funding will be used to expand the company’s engineering team, scale B2C partners on the platform, extend mortgage product offerings, and create its debt marketplace in which financial institutions supply liquidity and receive a safe yield on their assets.

Vontive, co-founded by Charles McKinney, a former executive at Freddie Mac, and Shreyas VIjaykumar offers a bank-quality, no-code, white label mortgage. It allows any bank, credit union or property technology company to launch their own investment-property loan business.
