Vyrill raises $3M in seed funding

Vyrill, a San Francisco, CA-based startup that enables video commerce with ‘in-video’ search technology, closed a $3M seed funding.

Noemis Ventures led the round with Lightship Capital participating from Gaingels. IBOS Ventures, IBOS Ventures, Nurture Ventures and angel investors.

The company plans to use these funds to expand its technology to ecommerce platforms, to grow its team, and to expand its product offering to businesses around the globe.

Launched in 2017 through UC Berkeley’s Skydeck Incubator program, by Ajay Bam and Dr. Barbara Rosario. Vyrill has created an ‘in-video’ search, analytics and video commerce solution that uses Artificial Intelligence to identify brand engagement content online, enabling brands to know their customer/fans, interact with them directly, and implement targeted marketing strategies featuring video.
