Wisk Aero Secures $450M from The Boeing Company

Wisk Aero, an Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), company based in Mountain View, CA, and the developer of an all-electric self-flying, electric air taxi in America, has received $450 million in funding.

The Boeing Company made the investment.

The funds will be used by Wisk to continue the development of its 6 th generation eVTOL aircraft. This aircraft is the first candidate to receive certification as an autonomous, all-electric, passenger-carrying aircraft. Wisk will benefit from the funding as it enters a period of intense growth over the next 12 months, prepares for scale manufacturing and continues its Go-to-Market efforts.

Gary Gysin is the CEO of Wisk, an AAM company that provides safe and every day flights for all. Wisk’s self-flying, eVTOL, (electric vertical takeoff and landing) air taxi will allow passengers to get around the city faster and skip traffic. Wisk, which is based in San Francisco Bay Area and New Zealand has been backed by Kitty Hawk Corporation.
