Xiaomi 12 Disassembling
Today’s Xiaomi 12 Disassembling Video is officially released. The wireless charging ring is what catches your attention. Next, the rear 50-megapixel main camera, which has a Sony IMX766 sensor. This sensor supports the OIS four-axis anti-shake and a 32-megapixel front camera.
You will find a variety of dense components inside the cover. These include 01005 small-package devices, bridge-type motherboard integrated lights sensor and gyroscope. LPDDR5 & UFS 3.1 are also available.
The symmetrical 115K twin speakers and the X-axis line motor are now disassembled. The thermal material is next. It has 226mm2 of white graphene or hexagonal boron, which is a low-dielectric, high thermal conductivity material. Its structure is similar to graphite and has a hexagonal laminate construction. This material is commonly used in aerospace. It is also worth noting that only the Xiaomi 12 Series has white graphene. The Xiaomi 12X and Xiaomi 12 Pro didn’t use it.
Also, the cover has a large amount of heat dissipation graphite. This covers almost the entire body. After tearing it open, there is a large 2600mm2 area of VC even heat plates, covering 24.5%. Here is the final stage of disassembly. It can be seen that the circuit board of Xiaomi 12 was transformed into a “sandwich”, which allows for the use of a new generation lithium cobalt battery and the VC even heating plate.
Xiaomi 12: The four challenges of a small-screen flagship
The Xiaomi 12 series project began with a dual-size, dual flagship product layout. This was not just to create a large-sized flagship, but also to create a smaller-sized flagship. There are many ways to reduce the size of the phone. The battery can be cut in half and the speaker removed. This is unacceptable at the very least in Xiaomi.
Xiaomi faced four problems when it had to support the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 flagship processor and large battery, stereo speakers. It also needed to accommodate full-featured NFC, wireless charger, infrared and other features in a small size.
How do you ensure that the battery has enough power?
The battery’s storage space has decreased to a smaller volume. To keep the battery’s capacity intact in a smaller size, you must increase the battery’s energy density.
Xiaomi12 is the first to be equipped with a new generation lithium cobalt-acid battery. This allows for an increase in the voltage of the battery system by 0.03V. Through a special packaging process, the engineers reduced the area occupied by the battery protection circuit to 45%. This leaves room for the battery cells. This makes Xiaomi 12 not only the most powerful 67W battery ever made but 8.8% more than its peers.
How can the antenna headroom be guaranteed?
The screen covers almost the entire body of the phone from the front, making the Xiaomi 12 the most compact Xiaomi phone. This presents a challenge for the antenna design. Engineers have managed to kill three birds by combining the right and left metal bezels.
- The mid-frame should be thinned to allow for antenna clearance
- To strengthen the center frame, add reinforcements
- To improve the screen-to-body ratio, allow the screen panel to extend closer towards the edges.
This was once a difficult challenge, but it has now become an opportunity to make the product even more extreme.
How can flagship performance be guaranteed?
The Xiaomi 12 features a new Snapdragon 8 Gen1 flagship processor and LPDDR5 memory. Each of these memory options has a large footprint. The SoC has a 2600mm2 Vapor Chamber heatsink and 10,345mm2 graphite heatsinks to ensure heat dissipation.
The problem lies in making the VC thin. By increasing the Mesh density to increase the capillary force, you can make the VC as thin as 0.3mm. This is the thinnest Xiaomi phone in history.
Fourth, how can we ensure that traditional art is preserved?
Even though it is a small volume the speakers must have. To do symmetry, the X-axis linear driver must be used. The flagship main camera must also have infrared, multifunctional NFC… the space between the motherboard and the motherboard must be allowed to breathe.
Xiaomi 12 motherboard has a large number ultra-small packaging devices. It measures 0.25 x 0.12 mm. An innovative patch process reduces the device pitch to 0.1 mm. This packaging and patch process make Xiaomi 12 the most dense 5G motherboard ever made. In comparison to Xiaomi 11, the area is 17% smaller.
This is Xiaomi 12. This is the final result of Xiaomi 12. It has excellent audio and video quality, flagship performance, and all-day battery life. This is what you would call a small-form flagship.
