Huawei’s first vertical folding screen smartphone Pocket was launched in December 2021 at a price of 8,988 Yuan. This year will see several domestic phone brands launch vertical folding screen phones, similar to the mainstream flagships, after the P50 Pocket.
Today’s Digital Chat Station revealed a vertical folding screen smartphone parameter. This includes FHD+ resolution screen and a 120Hz high refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8 Gen1 flagship processor is also present. 50 megapixels are located at the bottom of the main camera.
The news reports that OPPO’s vertical folding-screen phones are primarily thin and light for the female market. However, the above-mentioned folding screen parameters don’t exclude the possibility of OPPO mobile phones.
Previously, OPPO’s FindN folding screen was released in December. It not only folded a phone costing 7699 yuan but also achieved a near-crease-free design that subverts the folding screen experience. The OPPO vertical folding phone screen is now available. It’s worth keeping an eye out for a lower price than the flagship model.
Digital Chat Station reported that the Xiaomi R&D vertical-folding screen phone was in production and will be available for consumers to view this year. The first mass-produced Xiaomi folding screen phone MIXFOLD was launched in the second half of 2013. It uses a similar folding design to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3.
Xiaomi will soon release its first vertical folding-screen phone. It may be called the MIX series. Xiaomi’s new FHD+ screen will be the core configuration of its new folding screen. It is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor and super fast charging.
